The idea of an omniscient God is reconcilable with our ability to have free will if one only permits the possibility that our universe is an infinite array of all possible actions, each with its own probability of occurring. Quantum mechanics points to this idea.

Humans have an infinite array of actions to take in the present moment. The future is an illusion; for tomorrow never comes. Thus the future is merely an abstract concept of projection. God, being omniscient and omnipotent, has the ability to project ALL possible outcomes indefinitely into the future. So we can choose freely between tap or bottled water. The reality in which we choose tap water does not collapse until it occurs, and when it does, God is not surprised because He knew we would make such an action from His infinite ability to project into the future and to allow an infinite number of universes in His infinite Mind.

Great read!
